Artisan Soap-folio

Ingredients: Saponified Beef Sodium Tallowate,

 Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Pinus Palustris Wood (Pine) Tar, Avena Sativa (Colloidal Oatmeal) Flour, Honey, Juniperus Virginiana (Cedarwood)

Oil, Sodium Lactate, Mulberry Silk Amino Acids, Carbo Activatus (Charcoal)

Colloidal Oatmeal & Pine Tar sooth sensitive/irritated/itchy skin & help kill bacteria & fungal spores. Top that off with cedarwood essential oil which is beneficial for your skin and smells lovely too.  There is also a pinch of charcoal in the middle which can help remove impurities like dirt and oil.  It is recommended to remove botanical garnishes but the tiny pinecones on the top are like icing on a cake. Sweet.

This soap is kept quite simple! The clear embeds were also made by me but are made with a different process than cold process. The base oils for the clear soap is only coconut oil and stearic acid which are mixed with the lye solution and then a solvent of isopropyl alcohol, vegetable glycerin and a sugar solution.  The black base of this bar has activated charcoal which is known for removing dirt and toxins.  There is a lovely cut of selenite and a little quartz on top for cleansing your energy field while you cleanse your temple.

​This lovely lemon bar reminds me of dessert! It includes poppy seeds for serious exfoliation. Beware if you know that to be a sensory overload for you.  My father in law said that this soap is the only one that works for removing the smell from his hands after filetting fish.  I’ll bet thats thanks to the cleaning power of lemon essential oil.

Peach, Pear, & Pineapple (ppp) fragrance oils smell good enough to eat.  Follow the wise words of Frank Zappa and "Don't Eat the Yellow Snow". This fragrance oil will take you away to that quiet beach where you can bask in the sun.  With sunscreen on of course!  Smells just like banana boat.  You might also find this bar scented with sandalwood essential oil for a more natural approach.  There are apricot shells mixed into the “beach” which will give you a fine exfoliation (not as aggressive as the poppy seeds).  My fiance loves this bar for getting his hands clean after working on the farm all day and getting covered in motor oil and various grease.  There’s also goat’s milk in this recipe which helps to balance out the pH.

This bar includes hibiscus flowers & powder which are high in vit C & alpha-hydroxy acids. Kaolin rose clay gives it the beautiful blush colour and the rose bud on top was foraged for you with love.  Everything about this loaf screams romance, especially the smell of freshly blooming peonies…...

This bar is for serious fun. Unicorn Poop: a rainbow of delicious treats, such as sugared strawberry, sweet peach, ripe raspberry and cotton candy in a fragrance.  Biodegradeable glitter is the perfect garnish you can feel good about. No microplastics allowed! There is no question that rainbows bring joy to this world, and it is the perfect symbol for our LGBTQIA2S+ loved ones who also bring joy to our lives.

I’m working on making this bar a trademark. As well as making cold process soap, I keep bees! The silk wings can stay in this bar while you use it while it is recommended to remove the dried tansy blooms.  The “honeycomb” contains turmeric which can help even out skin tone and fights acne causing bacteria. There’s also a little bee pollen mixed in which is known for its antibacterial properties reducing inflammation.

This herbal-based combo of essential oils is known for its uplifting and energising properties and is my personal favourite!  Take a deep breath in while you are lathering up.  Each layer also has spirulina which not only produces the beautiful green with the french green clay, but also has been shown to eliminate toxins from the skin and increase skin metabolism. Soap is a wash away product which would not be as effective as as a leave on product but in my opinion, every bit counts and intention is also very powerful.
